If the trip from land needs around 4-5 hours, from the sea is far quicker. From Kuta, Bali, it only needs 2 hours to go to Plengkung. The admission is USD 125 per person.

In Plengkung Beach area, the visitors usually stay for a week. They could stay at the resort (must pay in dollars), or homestay owned by Alas Purwo National Park that quite far from Plengkung Beach (pay in rupiah).

Most of the resorts there take forest’s loneliness as a benefit. Hanief, the Director of Bobby’s Camp in G-Land, told that his resort uses an electric generator with no sound. That generator could lighten the resort and could turn on AC, cable TV, and water boiler. They also produce bread and local delicacies, such as steamed yam and taro.

The average rate is USD 100 every day, with minimal three days the visitors could enjoy their stay in Plengkung while surfing with the high waves and enjoying the tranquil forest with 5-star accommodation.

But if you are looking for cheaper price, homestay of Alas Purwo National Park could be the best choice. The rate is Rp 100.000 per room. For culinary, you could buy in the stalls around the homestay.

This place is the best place to experience tranquil forest along with bird’s chirps, animals behavior, and rustling voice from leaves.

So do not forget to visit this place to enjoy the ‘naughty’ waves and tranquil forest.
