The charm of the hills in this area is such a magnet to attract the visitors.  Besides, the natural wealth potential of this area including Durian trees and other fruits are the main attraction.

Indeed, Desa wisata is still on the progress of development and improvement to be a popular tourist destination. Later on, this place will be an environmental tourist destination which emphasizes the local wisdom potential of Desa Medowo.

When you step on this place for the first time, you will be greeted by a typical of asphalt highlands road. You will see many local people who bring milk can when you arrive. Desa Medowo is popular as a center of cow’s milk because most of the people own dairy cows.

Moreover, there is an innovation of dairy product from UMKM or Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (Micro, small, and middle business in English).

The journey to Gandrung hill is quite lovely.
There are some gazebos which made of bamboo on Gandrung Tanggulasi hill. There is a lot of instagramable photo spots such as a building which resembles big tree concept.

Evita Natalia (15), a woman who lives at Desa Dampit Asmoro Bangun, Kecamatan Puncu, came to this place with her friends after school.

She knew this place because it is popular on Instagram.

“The scenery is awesome. Moreover, the atmosphere is cool because it is located on the highland,” she said.

Eva, A student of SMA Puncu, admitted that she was amazed when she stepped on her feet at this place. She and her friends love to visit any places with an amazing view to take selfies.

“even though this place is a little bit too far to reach, but I don’t mind because this place is new. I want my photo remains popular,” she said.

Meanwhile, Kalikis (44), the owner of Tanggulasi Outbound & Playground explained that he is still constructing some public facilities including a food court and homestay.

Mushola (Moslem prayer room) and toilet are available in the area.

“The construction keeps going. If there is no obstacle, the building will be finished before Eid al-Fitr the people could enjoy the atmosphere of this place,” he revealed.

He has prepared to build a tourist attraction with jungle concept. The location is right under the Gandrung Tanggulasi hill.

Later on, the visitors could enjoy and feel the sensation of Excelsa coffee of Desa Medowo.
