Enjoying The Charm of Fog Rain on Kelud Mount

SURYA.co.id - The weather around Kelud mount was so cold whereas the time showed 9 AM. Most of the cliff at the left side of Kelud mount was covered by thick fog.

It is like white ‘fog rain’ which came from the gap of the cliff. The thick fog that was blown by the wind covered Sumbing cliff. It is right above the Kelud crater.

The panorama of Kelud provides peaceful highland atmosphere. Visitors can see a large green view from the high. It really spoils your sight.

Most of the visitors always save the moment when they are on Kelud by taking selfies and capturing photos together with family or friends.

Kelud mount is one of main natural tourism attraction of Kediri. Besides, Kelud mount has been being visitor’s favorite tourism destination to spend their holiday on Eid al-Fitr.

These days, there are about 3.000 domestic tourists on Kelud, a mount which erupted on 3 February 2014 at 9.45 PM.

After Kelud eruption, numbers of facilities in this place were damaged and disused. Moreover, nowadays the access to go to Kelud is being restricted. The visitor’s transportation is being restricted by parking it at the last bridge.

Visitors have to walk on an uphill asphalt road to reach the highest point of Kelud. Visitors were dominated by families including kids, wife, and siblings. They were talking and enjoying the moment while taking some rest.

The entrance ticket costs pretty cheap. It costs IDR 5.000 for one person. The additional costs for motorbike park are IDR 2.000 and IDR 10.000 for the car. Low-cost tourism could be a reason for visitors to go to Kelud mount.

There are several facilities to spoil the visitors from hammock park and flying fox.  For all of you who like adventure, you might try adventure sensation by riding a jeep on off-road line at Kelud.
