The New and Extreme Banyu Nget in Trenggalek, East Java

Since this place officially has opened, there are many visitors like this place because of its cool, beautiful, and natural ambiance. This place also has many other natural and extreme rides here.

Most of the visitors from outside Trenggalek come here to go to Kecamatan Watulimo.

There are many attractions there, such as Lawa Cave, Prigi Beach, Pasir Putih Beach, Simbaronce Beach, Cengkrong Recreational Area, and other beaches.

Perhutani (Indonesia State Forestry) opened a new travel destination named Banyu Nget that means warm water in Javanese that is located in Kecamatan Watulimo. The natural beauties that could be seen are a waterfall, a rocky river, a hot spring, and an extreme ride in one area.

“This area is perfect for family time. The atmosphere is cool. Moreover, the panorama is really good.” Setyo Kromo, a visitors from Kecamatan Panggul, Trenggalek, said.

This place is full of both local tourists. There are also visitors from outside this town. Ika Septin, one of the visitors said she was curious about this place that she knew from social media.

“At first, I saw this travel destination from social media. After I come here and see it by myself, this place is really awesome, “ she said.

The access is pretty easy. The parking lot is also wide enough. Those two reasons make the visitors feel comfortable.

Perhutani and local residents are really serious to manage this natural travel destination, and it looks from the area management. There are selfie spots. There are also miscellaneous plants and flowers with the unique arrangement that looks like a flower garden in the middle of a forest.

To enter this place, the visitor should pay the admission around Rp.5.000 per person. The no-cash visitors also could pay the ticket using electronic money (E-Money).

After paying the admission, the visitors could enter the area. They also get welcomed by the friendly staffs at the entrance gate.

While walk in the footpaths in entire Banyu Nget area, the cool breeze will be felt. The visitors could hear twigs that blown by the wind and bird’s chirps which make all of these become like a natural orchestra in this area.

Inside the forest area, there is a rocky river. The visitors could try to go across the river with walking above bamboo bridge or suspension bridge called Kangen Bridge.

Kedung Banyu Nget has the source of the water from the bottom of its pool. Other than hot spring, the visitors could see the stunning Urang Kambu Waterfall.

This waterfall with 30 meters heights is so alluring, and it makes the visitors want to swim there. If the visitors could not swim, the staffs there provide life jacket to use.
