Muhammad Cheng Hoo Mosque
Muhammad Cheng Hoo Mosque is one of the religious destinations in Surabaya. This mosque is one of the legacies of the soldiers of Admiral Cheng Hoo when they did Indonesia expedition. The mosque is not far from Surabaya’s downtown. It is located in Jalan Gading, Ketabang, Surabaya.

Heroes Monument and Monument of 10 November
This destination records the spirit and historical story of the fight of arek Suroboyo battle with soldiers of Alliance and Holland.

The location is in the center of this city makes it easy to be known and visited. From Monument of Submarine is around 30 minutes or 2 kilometers.

In this place, you could see Bung Tomo’s car, heroes’ cemetery. You could also visit Monument and Museum on 10 November.

You also could go around to see the old town in this area. There is Saint Mary Church, the Governor's office, Mandiri’s old building, old tram stop, until Jembatan Merah or Red Bridge.

Museum House of Sampoerna
House of Sampoerna (HoS) is one of the museums in Surabaya that you must visit. It is located in Taman Sampoerna number 6, Krembangan Utara, Kota Surabaya.

In this museum, you will be explained about Sampoerna company’s history, from the mix of tobacco in colonial era until now. This two stories museum also has souvenirs that are made by local people and small industries.

Ampel
In this area, you could see the acculturation of Java and Middle-East. This area is in the northern part of the other mentioned destinations.

Ampel is one of the exotic areas in Surabaya because of its different culture and art, including Middle-East culinary that you should try, such as sambosa, corn rice, kabuli rice, and many more.
