Bromo is a Perfect Natural Painting of East Java
Wonderful scenery is the key of Bromo charm. Bromo is located 85 kilometers from Surabaya. It could be accessed from Probolinggo or Malang.
1. Enjoying sunrise on Pananjakan
The best moment to enjoy the nature is watching the sun rise in Bromo. If the visitors want to see the scenery on their own, they can walk through a lane to Pananjakan. They better accompanied with their tour guide.
Visitors could see Bromo, Batok, and Semeru from above on Pananjakan. When the sun rises, Bromo is covered by cloud. It makes the panorama look beautiful and magical.
2. The Desert
After enjoying sunrise, visitors would go down from the hills to an amazing desert. It is located in foot of Bromo with 15 km2 large. People named this location ‘Pasir Berbisik’ because ‘Pantai Berbisik’ film took place in this desert. There is also Hinduism shrine which was not destroyed on Bromo eruption.
3. Bromo Caldera
Visitors have to walk for 2 – 3 kilometers to see Bromo caldera or Bromo crater. Visitors could ride a horse for IDR 100.000 to caldera. They need to climb up 300 staircases to get to the crater.
