Mount Bromo is in Priority Travel Destination of 2017, The Amount of Visitor Reaches 573.948 People

SURYA.co.id - Bromo, Tengger, and Semeru are still being tourist’s favorite spot ro visit. The beauty of its nature and the view of sunrise or sunrise on puncak penanjakan make many tourists love the surrounding.
Office center of Bromo Tengger Semeru national park as organizer of the natural tourism have recorded about 573.948 tourists visited Bromo, Tengger, and Semeru by the end of November 2017. The number of visitor contains 22.603 foreign tourists and 551.346 local tourists.
"The amount of local and foreign visitor has great difference in number. The visitor is dominated by local tourist of Indonesia." said the head of Information office of Bromo Tengger Semeru national park, John Kenedie on Wednesday (20/12/2017).
Non-tax government revenue in the area has high amount because of the high number of visitor.
Office center of Bromo Tengger Semeru national park has accumulated Rp. 19,6 billion from the target number Rp. 16 billion, which is determined by Ministry of Environment and Forestry. It means non-tax government revenue which is earned by the organizer is 121,51% from the target.
"The highest revenue is in July. The amount is rising until Rp. 4 Billion," said John.
John expects that the number of visitors would rise next year because Bromo has been inserted in the 10 priority travel destination program.
"We expect that the number of visitor is stabile next year. We also expect that the nature is friendly so that we could earn the target revenue." John added.
